The Mildmay Hospital in my constituency has been a pioneer for HIV and AIDS care since the 1980s.
Diana, Princess of Wales, made 17 visits to this unique, charitable hospital – breaking through the stigma surrounding HIV and AIDS. Ahead of the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death next year, it’s at risk of closure because of NHS commissioning issues.
At Prime Minister’s Questions, I asked for his support to this iconic hospital, to ensure it survives and thrives.
