I welcome this Labour Government’s announcement to ban social media for under 16s. This landmark move reflects the change many parents and young people have been campaigning for.
Today, I asked the Secretary of State to also consider a cross-Government approach to protect vulnerable young adults from being targeted online by far right and religious extremists, sexual predators and organised criminal gangs.
