This Labour Government is helping to improve women’s lives. The female employment rate is at a record high with over 430,000 more women in work since Labour came to power.
It is providing 30 hours free childcare allowing more flexibility for mothers in the workplace. The government is also strengthening employment rights for women; improving redundancy protections for pregnant women, day-one unfair dismissal rights and ensuring more flexible working.
